Rasmusen Fall Floor Refresh Sweepstakes - Official Rules

The prize is a $1,500 promotional credit that has value only when applied to an eligible concrete floor coating project performed by the Sponsor. 

Winning does not obligate the winner to enter into a project contract. 

If the winner chooses not to use the credit under these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Sponsor

The Rasmusen Fall Floor Refresh Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by Rasmusen Creative Coatings Incorporated, doing business as Rasmusen Painting and Concrete Coating (the "Sponsor"), 1162 Jordan Ln #B, Napa, CA 94559, telephone (707) 414-3330, California contractor license number 944229.

Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 30, 2026 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). 

The Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for online entries. 

Mail entries are governed by the postmark and receipt deadlines stated below.

Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to a natural person who, at the time of entry:

• is a legal resident of California;
• is at least 18 years old;
• owns, or has written legal authority from the owner to contract for improvements to, the property where the prize would be used; and
• proposes a project property located in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, or Yolo County, California.

Businesses and other legal entities may not enter. 

An eligible individual may apply the prize to an otherwise eligible residential, commercial, or industrial property if the individual has authority to contract for work at that property.

Employees, officers, directors, owners, contractors, and agents of the Sponsor and any promotion administrator, advertising agency, or prize supplier involved with the Sweepstakes, together with their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible. 

For this purpose, immediate family includes a spouse, domestic partner, parent, child, sibling, and each of their spouses or domestic partners. 

Void outside the eligible area and where prohibited or restricted by law.

No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Entry is not conditioned on requesting an estimate, attending a consultation or sales presentation, consenting to marketing communications, or purchasing any goods or services. 

An entry submitted without a purchase or marketing consent will receive the same chance of winning as every other eligible entry.

How To Enter

An eligible person may use one of the following free entry methods during the Sweepstakes Period:

1. ​Online entry. Visit / during the Sweepstakes Period, follow the link to the Sweepstakes entry page, and submit the completed official entry form as directed. The form may request the entrant's full name, residential address, email address, telephone number, proposed project address, project type, and confirmation that the entrant is at least 18 years old. Any separate marketing-consent option may be left unchecked and is not required for entry.
2. Mail entry. Legibly hand-print the entrant's full name, residential mailing address, email address, telephone number, proposed project address if different, a statement that the entrant is at least 18 years old, and the words "Rasmusen Fall Floor Refresh Sweepstakes" on a 3-inch by 5-inch card. Place the card in a stamped envelope and mail it to Rasmusen Painting and Concrete Coating, Attn Sweepstakes Entry, 1162 Jordan Ln #B, Napa, CA 94559. A mail entry must be postmarked no later than November 30, 2026, and received no later than November 4, 2026. Each entry must be mailed separately.

Online and mail entries have an equal chance of winning. 

The individual named on the entry is the entrant. 

Proof that an entrant submitted an entry does not prove that the Sponsor received it.

Entry Limit and Entry Conditions

Limit one entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of entry method. 

If the Sponsor receives more than one entry from the same person, only the first complete eligible entry received will be included in the drawing. 

Entries generated by script, bot, macro, automated device, commercial sweepstakes service, or other automated means are void. 

Entries may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or submitted for another person.

An entrant must provide truthful, complete, and accurate information. 

The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, misdirected, postage due, or not received because of technical or delivery problems. 

For an online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter may be required to establish identity and eligibility.

Prize and Approximate Retail Value

One grand prize will be awarded: a $1,500 promotional credit toward one new, eligible concrete floor coating project performed by the Sponsor (the "Prize"). 

The approximate retail value of the Prize is $1,500.

The Prize will be applied to the Sponsor's written contract price for eligible labor and materials. 

If the eligible project price is less than $1,500, the Prize will cover eligible charges only up to the actual project price, and the unused balance will be forfeited. 

If the eligible project price exceeds $1,500, the winner is responsible for the remaining balance and all other charges stated in the project agreement.

The Prize is not transferable, assignable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. 

The winner may not substitute the Prize. 

The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value only if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control and the substitution is permitted by law.

Eligible Project and Redemption Conditions

The following conditions apply to use of the Prize:

• The Prize applies to one new concrete floor coating project at one eligible property within the geographic area stated in Section 3.
• The project must be a type of residential, commercial, or industrial concrete floor coating that the Sponsor ordinarily offers and agrees in writing to perform.
• The Prize may not be applied to work already completed or to a project placed under contract before the potential winner is verified.
• The proposed surface and worksite must pass the Sponsor's customary inspection and be reasonably suitable, accessible, and lawful for the proposed installation.
• The winner must schedule a site inspection within 30 days after verification, enter into the Sponsor's standard written project agreement within 60 days after verification, and make the property reasonably available for completion by November 30, 2027, unless the Sponsor agrees in writing to extend a deadline.
• The winner is responsible for obtaining any owner, landlord, lender, homeowners association, or other third-party authorization required for the project.
• Unless the written project agreement expressly includes them, the Prize does not cover concrete replacement, structural repair, moisture remediation, hazardous-material work, code upgrades, permits, moving or storage, electrical or plumbing work, or other work outside the coating scope.
• The Prize may not be combined with any other coupon, discount, rebate, or promotion unless the Sponsor approves the combination in writing.

The Sponsor's standard project agreement will govern the scope, schedule, payment of any amount above the Prize, change orders, warranties, and other project terms. 

Any express written warranty that normally applies to the selected coating system will remain available on its stated terms. 

If the potential winner cannot satisfy these conditions, declines the Prize, or proposes no feasible eligible project, the Prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate potential winner.

Winner Selection and Notification

On or about November 5, 2026, the Sponsor or its designated administrator will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received. 

The selected entrant will be the potential winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner by email and telephone within five business days after the drawing. 

The potential winner must respond within five business days after the first notification attempt and timely complete the verification requirements in Section 11. 

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond on time, is ineligible, does not satisfy the verification requirements, or declines the Prize, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

The Sponsor expects to determine and verify the final winner on or about November 20, 2026. 

If alternate drawings or circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control delay verification, the final winner will be determined as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.

Odds Of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Winner Verification Requirements

As a condition of receiving and using the Prize, the potential winner may be required to:

• sign and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility and a liability release within seven calendar days after it is provided;
• provide reasonable proof of age, California residency, identity, and ownership of or authority over the proposed project property;
• provide tax information and sign any tax document required by law;
• allow a reasonable site inspection to confirm that the project is within the service area and technically feasible; and
• enter into the standard project agreement described in Section 8 if the winner elects to use the Prize.

A separate publicity consent may be offered to the winner, but signing that consent is not required to receive the Prize. 

The Sponsor may make limited winner-identification disclosures for Sweepstakes administration or a winner list as permitted or required by law.

Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Prize. 

The Sponsor may report the Prize value and issue any tax form required by law. 

The winner should consult the winner's own tax adviser regarding the Prize.

Publicity

Except for limited winner-identification and Sweepstakes-administration disclosures permitted or required by law, the Sponsor will not use the winner's name, voice, signature, photograph, likeness, or testimonial for advertising or promotional purposes without any prior written consent required by applicable law. 

Any broader publicity permission should be documented in a separate written release that identifies the intended uses.

Privacy and Communications

The Sponsor will use entry information to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. 

Entry information will be handled according to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy at rasmusenpainting.com/privacy-policy and applicable law.

Entering the Sweepstakes does not by itself authorize marketing calls, text messages, or emails. 

If an entrant separately and affirmatively consents to marketing, the Sponsor may contact that entrant according to the terms of the separate consent. 

Declining or later withdrawing marketing consent will not affect an entry or the odds of winning. 

The Sponsor may still send communications reasonably necessary to administer the Sweepstakes.

General Conditions

The Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, acts in a disruptive or fraudulent manner, violates these Official Rules, or attempts to obtain an unfair advantage.

 The Sponsor's decisions regarding administration, eligibility, and application of these Official Rules are final, subject to applicable law.

If fraud, technical failure, natural disaster, government action, or another event beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control materially impairs the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes to the extent permitted by law. 

If feasible, the Sponsor will award the Prize in a random drawing from eligible entries received before the impairment or by another fair method described in an updated notice. 

The Sponsor will not cancel the Sweepstakes merely because it receives fewer entries than expected.

Release and Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, any Sweepstakes administrator, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, and each of their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize. 

This release does not apply to claims that cannot lawfully be waived or to liability arising from a released party's fraud, willful misconduct, or violation of law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the released parties are not responsible for technical failures, interrupted service, corrupted data, unauthorized intervention, printing or typographical errors, or other problems that affect an entry or the administration of the Sweepstakes. 

Nothing in these Official Rules limits any nonwaivable consumer right or remedy.

Disputes and Governing Law

These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. 

Subject to any nonwaivable right or jurisdictional requirement, any legal action arising from the Sweepstakes must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Napa County, California. 

Before filing an action, the parties should make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

Social Media Disclaimer

If the Sweepstakes is advertised or mentioned on Facebook, Instagram, or another social media platform, the Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform. 

By entering, each entrant releases the applicable platform from claims arising out of the Sweepstakes to the extent permitted by law. 

Entrants provide their information to the Sponsor, not to the social media platform, unless the platform's own tools expressly state otherwise.

Winner List

To request the winner's name and city of residence, send a self-addressed stamped envelope marked "Rasmusen Fall Floor Refresh Sweepstakes Winner List" to Rasmusen Painting and Concrete Coating, 1162 Jordan Ln #B, Napa, CA 94559. 

The request must be received by January 19, 2027. 

The Sponsor will respond subject to applicable law.

Severability and Entire Rules

If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

These Official Rules govern the Sweepstakes and supersede inconsistent statements in advertising or promotional materials. 

If an advertisement conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules control, subject to applicable law.
